Overview

The New Acute Hospital (NAH) in the Kai Tak Development Area is set to become one of the largest hospitals in Hong Kong. With 2,400 beds and 37 operating theatres, the NAH aims to provide a wide range of clinical services and facilities, enhancing healthcare provision in the region.

The NAH is a designated trauma centre providing 24-hour Accident andEmergency unit, staffed and equipped to handle urgent cases, emergency conditions and major incidents.

GELEC's Contribution:

  • General Lighting & Landscape: Provided comprehensive lighting solutions and landscape enhancements to create a pleasant and healing environment for patients and visitors.
  • Equipment Provision: Supplied 12 Doosan forklifts D30NXP and a Bobcat S450 Skid Steer with attachments, including a 62” Industrial Bucket Grapple, facilitating the construction and maintenance processes.
  • Overall Impact: GELEC's contributions are vital in supporting the construction and development process of the New Acute Hospital, ensuring the timely completion and efficient operation of this significant healthcare project.
